Tea Time is a device created to help people create the perfect cup of tea. The device syncs with a smart phone app that allows the user to scan a barcode or select a tea of their choice manually. The app then provides instructions for how brew the perfectly based on its specific requirements. The app could be either a database for numerous tea brands or could be licenced to a specific brand to make suggestions to the user based on their previous brews.

The device is reminiscent of an hour glass. The water and tea are added into the bottom half with the assistance of a temperature sensor to ensure the water is at the correct temperature. The app then starts a timer which alerts the user to flip the device, straining the tea into the top half.

The design features double walled glasses, a rubberized finish for grip and a laser cut stainless steel infuser.
